Wedding Food Bars

July 10, 2018

This blog post is all about FOOD! I don't know about you but I love food and love going to a wedding and trying all different kinds of food.

On this blog post, I am focusing on all the different types of food bars and stations that you can have at a wedding. The possibilities are endless!

1. Potato Bar

This can include baked, mashed or sweet potatos. Include all the fixin's! Butter, sour cream, bacon, chives, brown sugar, etc. If you want to get more elaborate, include chili and BBQ pulled pork! Is your mouth watering yet?

2. Old Fashioned Soda Bar

Everyone would enjoy this one! Search for all of the classic favorites. It also is an awesome way to bring in some color!

3. Pie Bar

Pies are a great alternative to wedding cake. Displaying them on wood slices or cake stands will be sure to bring that rustic charm! You can have full pies for guests to choose their own slice, mini pies, or even pie pops!

4. Taco Bar

It doesn't have to be a fiesta to have a taco bar! The possibilities are endless for this one. You can include meats, toppings, salsas, chips, rice, beans, etc!

5. Donut Bar

This can be another alternative to wedding cake. Have a donut wall with multiple donut options or place them on cake stands. This also is a great idea for a brunch reception!

6. Milk & Cookies Bar

Another sweet option for a brunch or evening reception! You don't just have to have your traditional cookies you could go for a cookie cake as well! Include regular, chocolate, and strawberry milk to wash down those delicious cookies!

7. Pasta Bar

This one is my favorite! Everyone loves some carbs, right?! Pasta is perfect to absorb some alcohol. Provide your guests with different pasta and sauce options. You also can add in toppings or meat options for them to choose from. The nice part about this is that it's a quick and easy meal option.

8. Pretzel Bar

You can make this salty & sweet! Cinnamon sugar, covered in chocolate, parmesan garlic, or covered in salt! Whatever your heart desires! Pair your pretzels with different dips for guests to choose from. You can't go wrong with any that you choose!
